Concrete Tray Options

In addition to the standard option, we offer a 3-inch tall concrete tray (concrete, colored concrete, polished concrete, pebbled concrete, asphalt) with an integrated inspection/service door. This option is designed specifically for poured aggregate applications. We also provide a similar tray with an integrated door for projects using brick or pavers.

Terrazzo

Metal Options

Metal plates are cut using high power laser cutting equipment, creating high precision parts for a flawless fit and finish.

Aluminum (6061 T-6), Diamond Tread or Smooth

Carbon Steel, Diamond Tread or Smooth

Stainless Steel, Diamond Tread or Smooth

Plywood options

Contractors typically handle the installation of all wood types, from reclaimed planks to polished finishes.

Control Systems

Standard Control System

Most turntables come with this control type as default, allowing for simple clockwise/counterclockwise rotation and variable speed with support for wireless remote operation.

Documentation and Troubleshooting Guide

Motion Control System

For enhanced control, some turntables offer an optional add-on that enables precise rotation. This allows for full 360-degree movement, along with relative and timed maneuvers. Controlled via an ethernet connection to a separate computer, this advanced functionality is ideal for applications like CUSA 360 Photo Studio.
Documentation and Troubleshooting Guide

4M Control System

For smaller turntables that can still accommodate automobiles, this control type comes standard. It eliminates the need for complex 240V electrical installations by including a pre-installed 120V wall outlet power cord. This convenient plug-and-play solution makes setting up your turntable a breeze.

Documentation and Troubleshooting Guide

Light Duty

This control type is ideal for our most compact turntable models. It’s perfectly suited for smaller displays like Christmas trees, art installations, and even creating 360-degree product views for online marketplaces.

Vehicle Parking Sliders

This control type comes standard with our parking sliders. It enables smooth horizontal movement of your car, unlocking extra parking space in your garage that might otherwise go unused.

Lifts/Custom Controls

Control options for lifts and custom projects are tailored to each specific application. For any inquiries or troubleshooting needs related to these control types, please don’t hesitate to contact us for a personalized discussion.

CUSA Turntables: Built to Last with Superior Pin Drive Technology

At CUSA, we’re driven by innovation. That’s why all our turntables feature a best-in-class pin drive system. Unlike outdated friction drives, our patented pin drive delivers:

Power & Drive Mechanism

Our most Common gearmotor supplier is Nord Drivesystems, we use Stober occasionally on high precision applications this is an option for high angular precision.

Remote Operation

All our turntables come equipped with a commercial-quality remote system manufactured by TeleRadio of Sweden. All remotes have a 100 ft. line of sight.

Wheel Assemblies

Our standard wheels are manufactured in-house from durable, MoS2-filled Nylon 6/6. This combination provides both high strength and abrasion resistance. The Molybdenum Disulfide acts as a solid lubricant, ensuring years of maintenance-free operation for smooth rolling.

For even greater load capacity, we offer custom high-load tapered conical wheels. This proprietary design eliminates the friction caused by the rotational “scrub” of flat cylindrical wheels. This makes them ideal for very high-load industrial turntables, dramatically increasing operational efficiency.

Rotating Connections

The use of slip joints and rotating unions means constant flow of liquid or electricity on the continuously rotating table, with the concern of hoses getting “wound up”!

There are generally two types of Rotating Connections:

  1. Slip Rings
  2. Rotating Unions

Slip rings are an electromechanical device that allows the transmission of power and electrical signals from a stationary to a rotating structure. A slip ring can be used in any electromechanical system that requires rotation while transmitting power or signals. Typical electrical signals transmitted are electricity, low and high power signals, CAT6 ethernet, and Radio frequency (RF) signals.

Rotating unions, also called rotary unions or rotary joints, transfer fluid from a stationary supply into rotating machinery, such as a spinning drum heated by oil or chilled by water. Different types are used to match each set of requirements. Typically used for water, chemicals, exhaust gases, and compressed air.
